JOE SAKIC (claps and cheers)
All three were amazing players in their careers and deserve all of this celebration as all three will most likely make it to the hall of fame for there wonderful work. ALL three will be missed in the year to come and the avs will not be the same without pierre turgeons crisp and sharp passing that is tape to tape. Blakes ability to not only defend but to let that shot rip off his stick with the great slap shot, And sakics leadership and hockey smarts and all around greatness that he brings on and off the ice. Futhermore these players jerseys shall be raised in the avs first home game in the 2007/2008 season and forever will these players be in the hearts of those who are die hard avs fans and also to the organization itself. Good work boys we salute you and offer you these retirement gifts:
Pierre Turgeon:
rob blake:
Joe Sakic:
Thank you for coming and enjoy the first home avs game:D
