Live from the Air Canada Centre, Leafs TV presents there monthly press conference.
Andy: Good day to everyone, and welcome to our monthly press conference. There are many things to get to in today's agenda. First off, I would like to be one of the first to welcome forward Brendan Morrisson from the Vancouver Canucks, to this hockey club. We are glad to have Brendan aboard. Secondly, I would like to thank all staff for there perticipation in this very successful season. This is team is truely a cup contender. The players have been playing well with eachother, chemistry is good, everybody has a positive thought, and with the club keep on rollin on with wins, we will eventually reach the goal of winning the stanley cup. Trade Deadline is coming up very very quickly. I don't want the players to feel that there on their last string with this club. Are team has been very successful, and I do not want to break that. There might be some minor deals, maybe a big one to make that big finalie for the cup this year. I want are team to be ready for whatever challenge comes there way. Lastly, I would just like to give you updates on our current injury situations. Kyle Wellwood had a collision with Buffalo Sabre's Henrik Zetterberg. Wellwood will be fine and should be back in the lineup in no time at all. And finally Jason LaBarbera. Jason is still in a fair amount of pain. He's having trouble moving his arm after getting hit from Buffalo Sabres forward Andrew Peters. Jason will be out of action for about a month or the last half of the season. He is hoping to be back for the playoffs. We won't rush him, we want Jason to feel 100% better. Thank you for joining today's press conference.
